CharDham Yatra Tour Packages 2024 – Char Dham is referred to as “the four abodes” and it is a mountain journey with four sacred temples in Uttarakhand. These places are also called as a Chhota Char Dham to differentiate between small and big Char Dham sites. These four temples are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath.

Gangotri Dham is dedicated to Lord Ganga, which comes in the second route of Chota Char Dham. This temple foundation was made by General Amar Singh Thapa. Gaumukh is the place from where the Gangotri river started its journey. This place is 19 kilometers far from Gangotri. There are some more famous locations near the Gangotri Dham, like Bhagirath Shila and Pandava Gufa. When you reach Gangotri Dham, you can visit even those locations.

Kedarnath is well-known as the joint of five spots where Lord Shiva used to reside. If you see the Vedas and Puranas, the word, “Kedar” meaning is Lord Shiva, and it still resides in the Linga form. Here you can even see the jyotirlinga. This temple is made with old stone which is located near the Mandakini River. There is a saying that Pandavasbuilt it and was revived by Adi Sankara. This temple view comes against its snowy backdrop. This is one of the most essential Dham in this Yatra.
Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and this is the duel form of Nara-Narayana. This temple was re-established by Adi Shankracharya in the 8th century. This is part of one of the missions of Hinduism. This place is situated near the Alaknanda River and neighbors have many ancient sites that include religious and historical value. Badrinath is challenging to journey and the most popular visited place in India.
