Gangotri

 Kedarnath

Chardham Yatra compasses through the Kedarnath dham which is located in snow-capped Himalayan ranges with the beguiling beauty of nature. Kedarnath dham is situated at Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand near the pious river Mandakini. This is a glaring fact that Kedarnath dham is surrounded with the beautiful environment of Garwal region.

Badrinath

Badrinath is one of the most significant places in the Chardham Yatra. Chardham Yatra package compasses through Badrinath temple also which is located in the beautiful district Chamoli in Uttarakhand. Badrinath temple is considered as a great work of art and architecture also as the beauty of this temple remains un-described with the captivating range of Garwal hills. The most significant fact about this temple is that it is one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to lord Vishnu.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (230 KMS/6 7HRS)

Arrive at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station and drive to Haridwar. Check into the hotel reach in Haridwar. Evening Mansha Devi Darshan, Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri.Stay overnight at the Haridwar.


Day 02:Haridwar – Uttarkashi

After breakfast check out from the Haridwar hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, witness aarti at Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.


Day 03:Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Hrshil and local sightseeing in hrshil and drive to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.


Day 04: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Morning (7:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in the hotel, in evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Vishwnath at Guptkashi. After temple darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.


Day 05: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, Move to Kedarnath by Helicopter. after darshan, return to Guptkashi, by helicopter. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 06: Guptkashi – Badrinath

The morning after breakfast, move to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is important for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Stay overnight at Badrinath.

Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara: As the name suggests, Vasundhara is a magnificent and beautiful water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motor able up to Mana.

Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a heavy rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Nearly Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have appeared the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Badrinath Weather: The maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius. Due to the extreme chilly climatic conditions of weather, this time is usually closed for tourists.


Day 07: Badrinath – Joshimath – Srinagar

Morning after breakfast, moving for Srinagar.Srinagar Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 35-40 degree Celsius, winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp average from 20 deg to 05 deg.


Day 08: Srinagar – Haridwar

After morning breakfast, moving for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Stay overnight at Haridwar.

Rishikesh: Named after the Lord Vishnu, Rishikesh is a spiritual city for Hindus. Located in the foothills of the Himalaya in northern India it is also known as the yoga centre of the world and is home to many world renowned ashrams. Rishikesh styles itself as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, with masses of ashrams and all kinds of yoga and meditation classes. The fast-flowing Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting centre, back packer hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya.


Day 09: Haridwar – Delhi

After morning breakfast, moving for Delhi. Dropping at Delhi airport /Railway station.
